 Infinite Project Possibilities!!

During my time as a community artist, I have been constantly amazed and excited by the endless variety of creative projects possible.  Every group has different requirements, objectives, interests and budgets.  Whether you’re after a two hour team building workshop or a large scale theatre production, Momentum Arts understands the importance of tailoring projects to suit specific needs.

 'Play in-a-day' .

Yes... it's possible!  Momentum Arts would provide the skills, facilitation techniques and resources in order to produce a short performance devised using participants' ideas.  Mornings are dedicated towards generating ideas through exercises and workshop conventions - afternoons are dedicated to development of ideas, transferrence to the stage and performance.

'During Class Time' Workshops for Schools and Colleges.

Creative activities can serve as an excellent way to encourage and inspire a group to explore themes, topics and curriculum subjects they are working on in class.  Momentum Arts would consult with teaching staff at every stage to ensure learning objectives not only met, but exceeded!.

 'After-School' Workshops.

These usually take place in schools or community centres and form a rehearsal and devising process towards a final performance.  Themes, scripts or stimulus would be decided at the beginning of the project and Momentum Arts would facilitate creativity, support participants and teach relevant performance skills and techniques.

 Holiday Workshop and Performance Programmes

Participants would attend workshops and rehearsals daily over a period of 1 - 3 weeks. Project aims often include involving young people in out of school activities and working intensively on a project towards a final performance.

'One-off' Drama, Dance and Movement Workshops.

These are short 1 hour - 1/2 day workshops.  Potential aims may include team building for a newly formed group or delivery of a taster session so a group may decided if they would like to take part in a longer term theatre project.
